How to play
The picture is divided into a 5 × 5 grid with the bottom-right piece removed. Select any tile in the same row or column as the gap. Every intervening tile slides toward the opening, and each tile shifted counts as one move.
A fair shuffle, every time
Picture Shift never scrambles the board with an arbitrary array shuffle. It starts solved and performs hundreds of legal moves, which guarantees that the puzzle you receive has a solution. Restart returns to that exact starting position.
Built for touch
The board remains square from small phones through desktop screens. Preview pauses the timer, hidden tabs do not inflate or exploit scores, motion can follow your system preference, and tile numbers provide an optional accessibility aid.
